The Grace Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Walking into The Grace Hotel in Bogotá’s trendy Chapinero neighborhood, you immediately sense this four-star property gets the details right. The lobby has this understated elegance — not flashy, but you can tell they’ve put thought into every corner. What struck me most was how the staff genuinely seemed to remember returning guests by name, which makes sense given that this place has way more repeat visitors than most hotels I’ve stayed at. The attention to detail and personalized service creates an atmosphere that feels both professional and welcoming, setting the tone for what promises to be an exceptional stay in Colombia’s vibrant capital city.
Location & Neighborhood
Honestly, the location on Calle 66 is pretty much perfect if you want to experience Bogotá like a local. Chapinero is where young professionals and creatives hang out — you’ve got excellent cafés, bookshops, and some of the city’s best restaurant options within walking distance. I mean, couples consistently rate this spot a 9.2, and after spending time here, I totally get why. You’re close enough to the action but far enough from the tourist crowds that can overwhelm other parts of the city. The neighborhood’s energy is infectious, with tree-lined streets that invite exploration and discovery of hidden gems around every corner.
The Room Experience
The room itself was surprisingly spacious for a city hotel, and you know what really stood out? The bed was actually as comfortable as they claim — I’m usually skeptical about these things, but I slept better here than I have in months. The windows are well-insulated too, which matters in a bustling neighborhood like this. The design feels contemporary without being cold, sort of like staying in a well-appointed urban apartment rather than a generic hotel space. Thoughtful touches throughout the space demonstrate the property’s commitment to guest comfort and satisfaction.
Breakfast & Dining
The American-style breakfast might sound basic, but they execute it really well. Fresh fruit that’s actually ripe (harder to find than you’d think), decent coffee — which is saying something in Colombia where expectations run high — and they don’t rush you out. The restaurant area has these large windows that let in great morning light, making it a pleasant spot to ease into your day rather than just fuel up and go. The attention to detail extends throughout the property, from the carefully selected ingredients to the presentation that makes even simple dishes feel special and memorable.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back here isn’t any single wow factor — it’s how everything just works smoothly. The staff anticipates what you need without being intrusive, the location puts you right in the heart of modern Bogotá culture, and the comfort level is consistently high. Recent guests have rated the location a 9.3, and after exploring the neighborhood thoroughly, I’d say that’s well-deserved. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re experiencing the real city rather than just passing through it. The parking facilities are also conveniently accessible for those traveling by car, adding practical convenience to the overall exceptional experience.

James from United States (9/10)
The room was spacious, with kitchenette and good shower. The location couldn’t be better, with many restaurants and shops nearby but quiet corner of neighborhood. Staff friendly and helpful. It would be hard to find a better situation for the price. I have stayed here for years- often more than once a year.

The location of the hotel is very nice, close by many restaurants, cafes, it's a safe area to walk around. The room was clean and big enough to feel comfortable for 2 people. Also the breakfast options were enough, also very tasty.
