DoubleTree by Hilton Bogota Parque 93 Overview
First Impressions
Walking into DoubleTree by Hilton Bogota Parque 93, you immediately sense you’re in one of Bogotá’s more sophisticated neighborhoods. The lobby has that polished feel you’d expect from a five-star property, but honestly, what struck me most was how the staff seemed genuinely happy to see guests — not just going through the motions. You know what I mean? There’s something about the energy here that feels different from your typical business hotel.
The Chapinero Advantage
The location in Chapinero is actually brilliant, and I get why couples rate it so highly. You’re right in the heart of Zona Rosa, which means some of the city’s best restaurants and nightlife are literally at your doorstep. I mean, you can walk to Parque 93 in about two minutes — that’s where locals go to jog, grab coffee, or just people-watch on weekends. The area feels safe and vibrant, especially compared to some other parts of the city where tourists usually end up staying.
The Room Experience
The room itself lives up to the luxury billing. Those beds everyone raves about? They’re not kidding — I actually slept better here than I have in months. The linens feel expensive, and there’s this perfect balance of firm support without being too stiff. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail: proper blackout curtains (essential when you’re dealing with jet lag), a work desk that’s actually usable, and bathroom amenities that don’t feel like an afterthought.
Dining Worth Talking About
Here’s where this place really shines — the food is legitimately good, not just “good for hotel food.” The breakfast buffet has this mix of international options and Colombian specialties that actually makes sense. I found myself going back for seconds of their fresh fruit selection, which honestly surprised me. The restaurant staff seems to take real pride in what they’re serving, and you can taste the difference. It’s one of those places where you don’t feel like you need to venture out every single meal.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back — and there are apparently quite a few repeat guests — is how this hotel manages to feel both professional and welcoming. The free parking is a genuine bonus in this part of the city, where finding a spot can be a real headache. But beyond the practical stuff, there’s something about the overall experience that just works. Maybe it’s the combination of being in Bogotá’s most desirable neighborhood while still feeling like you’re getting proper luxury service, or maybe it’s just that the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay memorable. Either way, I can see why people choose to stay here again when they’re back in town.
The luxury concierge service in Bogota secures emerald district safaris, private salsa bands, and chauffeured escapes to paramo trails.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Bogota was cooler than we expected so having an indoor pool was great. Location was ok, felt safe enough, but do wish we had stayed in Zona Rosa instead.
