Wynwood House Chapinero Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Wynwood House Chapinero, you immediately get that boutique vibe — it’s not trying to be something it isn’t, which I honestly appreciate. The lobby has this modern, clean aesthetic that feels fresh without being sterile. You know what struck me most? The staff actually seemed to care about making your stay comfortable, not just checking boxes on some corporate checklist. It’s a three-star property, but the attention to detail feels more personal than what you’d find at bigger chain hotels.
Location & Neighborhood
The Chapinero location is honestly one of the best things about this place. You’re right in the heart of one of Bogotá’s most vibrant neighborhoods — I mean, you can walk to some incredible restaurants and cafes without needing to figure out the TransMilenio system every time you want decent food. The area has this great mix of local life and expat-friendly spots, so you’re not stuck in some tourist bubble. Couples seem to really love it here (they rate the location super highly), and I can see why — there’s something romantic about strolling through Chapinero in the evenings, especially when you know you’ve got a comfortable place to come back to.
The Room Experience
My room was actually bigger than I expected — you know how hotel photos can be misleading, but this was a pleasant surprise. The design is modern and minimalist, with good lighting that doesn’t make you feel like you’re in a cave. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that hotel-bed backache, and the bathroom had decent water pressure (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given in Bogotá). There’s also good soundproofing, which matters when you’re in such a lively neighborhood.
Practical Perks
What I really appreciated were the little things that make travel easier. The WiFi actually works well throughout the building — I could video call from my room without constantly dropping connection. There’s a small restaurant on-site that serves solid Colombian breakfast, though honestly, with all the amazing food options in Chapinero, you might want to venture out most of the time. The front desk staff speaks decent English and they’re genuinely helpful with recommendations, not just handing you the same tourist brochures everyone gets.
Why Guests Love It
Recent guests consistently rave about the location, and after staying here, I totally get it. You’re walking distance from Zona Rosa’s nightlife, some of Bogotá’s best coffee shops, and that whole trendy Chapinero scene that locals actually frequent. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re experiencing the real city, not some sanitized version of it. The value is solid too — you’re getting a clean, comfortable stay in one of the city’s best neighborhoods without paying five-star prices. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to explore Chapinero properly rather than just passing through.
Best hotels in Bogota mix rooftop hot tubs, emerald cocktail bars, and chef-led ajiaco tastings.

Very comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen and a cosy room overall. Laundry room available, great views from the rooftop terrace and lots of shops and eateries within walking distance.

The room was beautiful and well equipped. The staff in the building were great! And one of your direct cx service agents through whattsapp, David, was very helpful and kind. The only issue and really it was very stressful, was the check-in and the lack of communication and long wait response times from your assessor through whatsapp (not David) also, none of the telephones answered. We had arrived from a very long trip and were eager to rest but had to wait 2 hours in the lobby. Also we were charged fees that were not mentioned and our bill was way higher than the booking.com price, money that we obviously had assigned to necessities.
Aside from that terrible part of check-in amd hidden fees. Everything else was above average. Beautiful.Kelly from Australia (7/10)
The security of the building. The room layout. The comfort of the room.

Comfortable bed, good facilities, clean, easy check in. Perfect for a solo traveler.
Washing machines upstairs and nice terrace to sit and read or work. I didn’t use the gym but they have one and parking too.
Security guards at front desk were friendly and helpful
Well stocked supermarket right next door.
Easy for tours and taxis to pick you upAlex from United Kingdom (9/10)
You feel it’s a 5 star hotel. Comfortable and loads of little extra touches that made our stay very special. They kept our luggage as we are arrived early and then kept again as we had extra hours in town. The communication is really good.
