Unique Mine – Luxury Lofts Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Unique Mine – Luxury Lofts in Bogotá‘s trendy Usaquén district honestly feels like discovering a hidden gem. This four-star property sits right in what locals consider the best part of the city — and you know what, they’re absolutely right. The industrial-chic design immediately catches your eye, with exposed brick and modern touches that somehow make perfect sense together. I mean, the name “Mine” isn’t just clever marketing; the whole aesthetic really does feel like they’ve transformed something raw into something special.

The Usaquén Advantage

Here’s what I love about staying in this neighborhood — you’re actually in the heart of where Bogotanos go to have fun. Usaquén’s Sunday flea market is literally a few blocks away, and the cobblestone streets are packed with cafes and artisan shops that tourists rarely find. The location score of 8.9 makes total sense when you realize you can walk to some of the city’s best restaurant without dealing with Bogotá’s notorious traffic. Couples especially seem to get this (they rate the location 9.0), probably because there’s something romantic about wandering these tree-lined streets in the evenings.

The Loft Experience

The room — well, calling it a room feels like an understatement. These lofts have serious character, with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. Each unit feels more like a stylish apartment than a typical hotel setup, which honestly makes longer stays way more comfortable. The modern furnishings don’t try too hard, and there’s enough space to actually spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. You’ll find thoughtful touches throughout that show someone actually cared about the design process.

Morning Fuel

The continental breakfast hits the right notes without being overly fancy — fresh tropical fruits, decent coffee (this is Colombia, after all), and enough variety to get your day started properly. What I appreciate is that they don’t try to do too much; instead, they focus on quality basics. The breakfast area has this relaxed vibe where you can actually take your time, maybe plan your day while watching the neighborhood come alive through those big windows. It’s the kind of morning routine that makes you feel like a temporary local rather than just another tourist rushing around.

Why Guests Love It

The 8.4 rating really reflects what this place does well — it’s not trying to be the flashiest hotel in Bogotá, but it nails the fundamentals while offering something genuinely different. The combination of that prime Usaquén location, distinctive loft-style accommodations, and attention to detail creates an experience that feels both sophisticated and approachable. You’re staying somewhere with personality in a neighborhood that actually matters to the city’s cultural life. For travelers who want to experience Bogotá like someone who lives here rather than just passing through, this place gets it right.

Apartments in Bogota suit remote teams with floor-to-ceiling windows, security lobbies, and on-site barista bars.

We were first placed in the wrong room but then moved to the room we actually booked which was much better. The sunrise from that room was delightful and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and the induction cooking countertop is a lovely and convenient amenity. We also loved the indoor pool.

  • Soraya from Canada (9/10)

The location is very good although some taxi drivers had difficulty finding the address, so we would give a nearby hotel's address instead. Near Carrera 15 where you can find grocery stores, cafés and more at walking distances. It was nice to have a restaurant in the building that served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good kitchen and bathroom. Spacious closet and comfortable bed and sofa bed.
