The Click Clack Hotel Bogotá Overview
First Impressions
Walking into The Click Clack Hotel Bogotá, you immediately get that this isn’t your typical five-star property — and I mean that in the best way possible. There’s something refreshingly modern about the whole vibe, without feeling cold or sterile. The design has this playful edge that somehow works perfectly in Bogotá‘s trendy Chapinero neighborhood. You know what struck me most? How the staff genuinely seemed excited to be there, which honestly sets the tone for everything else.
The Chapinero Advantage
The location on Carrera 11 is absolutely brilliant — I can see why couples rate it so highly. You’re right in the heart of Zona Rosa, which means some of the city’s best restaurants and nightlife are literally at your doorstep. What’s great is that you can walk to places like Andrés Carne de Res or catch a quick Uber to La Candelaria without dealing with Bogotá’s notorious traffic. The area feels safe and vibrant, especially in the evenings when the whole district comes alive. Plus, you’re close enough to Zona T that shopping and business meetings are never a hassle.
The Room Experience
The rooms here are something special — and those beds really do live up to the hype. I’m usually pretty picky about mattresses, but I actually slept better here than I have in months. The room design strikes this perfect balance between contemporary and cozy, with floor-to-ceiling windows that give you proper views of the city. The bathrooms are spacious (which isn’t always a given in Bogotá hotels), and the rainfall shower is honestly a nice touch after long days exploring the city. Small detail, but the blackout curtains actually work, which any frequent traveler will appreciate.
Food That Actually Delivers
Here’s where The Click Clack really surprised me — the food is legitimately excellent. The breakfast spread includes both American classics and local Colombian options, so you can ease into bandeja paisa or stick with what you know. But honestly, their restaurant for dinner is where they shine. The chef clearly knows what they’re doing, and the menu changes enough that repeat guests (and there are quite a few of them) don’t get bored. I had this incredible ajiaco that was better than some specialty places I’ve tried around the city.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
What makes this place work is the attention to details that matter. The luxury here isn’t about marble everything or over-the-top service — it’s about getting the fundamentals right and adding thoughtful touches. The WiFi actually works throughout the building, the concierge knows the city inside and out, and there’s reliable parking (which, trust me, is gold in this part of Bogotá). I think that’s why so many people return — it’s the kind of place that makes business trips more pleasant and leisure stays genuinely relaxing. When you’re paying five-star prices, you want to feel like the hotel understands what modern travelers actually need, and The Click Clack gets that balance just right.

The room was excellent – super comfortable bed with good amenities, especially getting the first lot of mini bar goods for free. Location was good, slightly out of the areas we were going to, but organising a car was easy. Staff were helpful with any queries, breakfast was good.

Highly recommended. the venue itself is modern, very well maintained, precise to description. hotel room i had was junior suite on 4th floor… i will say be aware that the floor to ceiling windows are clear (you can see outside and people can see you)…if you are up for being an exhibitionist well… that's on you. decor is unique and great, mini bar is nice (free to take for first time consumption). bathroom can be a little dark but manageable, great shower! toiletries are a great addition (not luxury but definitely good assortment and quality). room temperature was warm for me,thought the central air was out but the junior suites face the front so lots of sun exposure. was told this absorbs heat but yes this was only thing i wish was better. all else for room and hotel was wonderful!! no gym but have spa services 🙂
Secondly, the staff was absolutely lovely, very attentive and helpful throughout my entire stay. Breakfast is great, you can head down and there's standard fruit, meats, juice to take. you'll then have an attendant take your order from their breakfast menu and it's all good. Recommend trying the local fruit and their coffee options were solid also. apache rooftop bar is super nice, amazing drinks and wonderful staff!! whole team made me feel very secure as a single female traveler in bogota for the first time, top notch in this regard! made sure i knew of the area, the restaurants, the tourist sites to go to, those not to go to, just kept me well informed. they looked out for me in every regard, whether in lobby, breakfast lounge or at rooftop bar, they made sure i was safe, being looked after and that is top of the line service for me.
if you arrive late, there is a 24/7 convenience store next door, street over is full of restaurants, mall close by is great, beauty salon is great. Uber is super easy and accessible. tourist areas like candelaria, museums, restaurants and all that is just an uber away.Luisa from Switzerland (8/10)
