Súper Apartamento central en Casa Colonial Bogotá Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Súper Apartamento central en Casa Colonial Bogotá, you immediately notice the colonial architecture that gives this three-star property its character. The building sits right on Carrera 6, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better — I mean, you’re literally in the heart of historic Bogotá. The entrance has that authentic Colombian colonial feel, with thick walls and traditional details that remind you this isn’t just another cookie-cutter hotel. It’s actually spread across two floors, which gives it more of a boutique apartment feel than a typical hotel setup.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about staying at Súper Apartamento central en Casa Colonial Bogotá — you’re walking distance from everything that matters in the city center. La Candelaria is practically on your doorstep, so you can explore the cobblestone streets and colonial buildings without dealing with Bogotá’s notorious traffic. The Gold Museum is maybe a 10-minute walk, and Plaza Bolívar is close enough that you’ll probably end up there multiple times during your stay. What’s interesting is that couples seem to really appreciate this spot (they rate the location 8.5), and I get why — there’s something romantic about being in the historic heart of the city.
The Apartment Experience
This isn’t your typical hotel room situation — you’re getting an actual apartment in a colonial house, which feels pretty special. The space has character, with those thick colonial walls that keep things surprisingly quiet despite being on a busy street. You know what struck me? The way they’ve maintained the colonial charm while making sure you have modern conveniences. It’s not fancy, but it’s comfortable and authentic, which honestly feels more valuable than staying in some generic modern place. The two-floor layout means you get more space to spread out, something you definitely appreciate after long days exploring the city.
Practical Considerations
Let me be real about staying here — the 8.9 rating tells you most of what you need to know about the experience. Guests consistently mention how well-located it is (recent visitors gave the location a 9.0), and that matters more than you might think in a city like Bogotá. The colonial building means you’re dealing with older infrastructure, but it’s been well-maintained. Being on Carrera 6 puts you on one of the main arteries, so getting around is actually pretty straightforward. You’ll hear some street noise — that’s just part of staying in central Bogotá — but the thick walls help more than you’d expect.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back to Súper Apartamento central en Casa Colonial Bogotá is that combination of authentic colonial atmosphere and unbeatable location. You’re not just staying somewhere — you’re living in a piece of Bogotá’s history while being steps away from the city’s best attractions. The apartment setup gives you more independence than a regular hotel, which is perfect if you want to experience the city like a local rather than a tourist. For the price point of a three-star property, you’re getting something genuinely unique that you simply can’t find in the modern hotel chains scattered around the city.
Bogota hotels keep guests close to Gold Museum vaults, coffee labs, and ciclovia bike lanes.

We loved everything about this place. It's centrally located, a great price, impeccably clean, and very comfortable for a short stay. It's small, but has everything you need.

The location was superb! The bed and shower were fabulous!Rathan from United States (8/10)
Excellent host, very responsive by whatsapp and gave clear check in instructions and even let me store by bags till check-in time, and allowed me to enter the room 3 hrs before their usual time. The person who cleans the rooms is very attentive and always willing to help if you need anything. Great location, few blocks from downtown but felt safe and many restaurants, bakeries and shops around
Epi from Netherlands (9/10)
The room was comfortable and the bed was just right. We had an extra blanket for when it got chilly at night and the small kitchen was a bonus. The shower is as hot and water pressure really good. Don Armando was super friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again.

location could not be more central, yet the place is tucked up into a short side street just behind the national museum. the food and fruits at the market a block up were wonderful and a block over is the fanciest artesianal cafe street in downtown.

The man who works in the property is awesome. He’s so kind and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped- it even had salt and sugar! The location is good for walking to downtown but wouldn’t recommend walking around at night.
