St. Louis Suites – Movistar Arena Overview
First Impressions
Walking into St. Louis Suites – Movistar Arena, you immediately get that “this place knows what it’s doing” vibe. It’s a solid three-star property that doesn’t try to be something it’s not — and honestly, that’s refreshing. The lobby feels modern without being sterile, and the staff actually seems to care about getting you settled in properly. You can tell right away this isn’t just another cookie-cutter hotel.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s the thing about staying in Teusaquillo — you’re positioned perfectly without the chaos of being right in the thick of everything. The Movistar Arena is practically next door, which is obviously huge if you’re catching an event there. But what I really appreciate is how easy it is to get around Bogotá from here. You’ve got decent public transport connections, and if you’re driving, well, they’ve got private parking on-site, which anyone who’s tried to park in this city will tell you is worth its weight in gold.
The Room Experience
The suites live up to their name — you’re getting actual space to spread out, not just a glorified hotel room with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner. Each unit comes with a proper kitchenette, and I mean a functional one where you can actually cook something beyond instant noodles. The beds are comfortable enough that you’ll sleep well, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes like some places I could mention. The bathrooms are clean and modern, with decent water pressure — sometimes it’s the simple things that matter most.
Dining and Amenities
While there isn’t a full-service restaurant on-site, that kitchenette I mentioned actually becomes a real asset. You’re in a neighborhood with plenty of local food options within walking distance, so you can grab fresh ingredients and cook when you want to, or head out when you’re feeling social. The hotel keeps things simple but functional — there’s a business center if you need to print boarding passes, and the common areas are comfortable enough to hang out in without feeling like you’re loitering.
Why Guests Love It
That 8.5 rating isn’t just a number — it reflects what this place does well consistently. Couples especially seem to get it, rating the location at 9.4, and I can see why. You’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough away to actually relax. The value proposition is solid too — you’re getting suite-style accommodations with practical amenities at a price point that won’t make you wince. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a few days and actually feel at home, whether you’re here for business, an event at the arena, or just exploring what Bogotá has to offer.
To book a hotel in Bogota during Christmas lights, guests pair Monserrate funicular rides with Usaquen market strolls.

It was clean and comfortable. East check in and very affordable. Quiet for the most part as it does sit right on a Main Street but no complaints on noise that wasn’t normal. Staff was excellent and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here.
