Teusaquillo is where actual bogotanos live and work, so you get this authentic feel that’s hard to find elsewhere. I mean, you can walk to proper local cafés where people are reading newspapers over their morning coffee, not just Instagram-worthy spots. The area around Carrera 33 has this nice residential vibe, and honestly, I felt safer walking around here at night than I did in some of the more central tourist zones.

The Space Itself

The loft design actually works really well — it’s compact but doesn’t feel cramped. What struck me most was how thoughtfully everything was arranged. The kitchen area has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the local market (there’s a great one just a few blocks away) and make your own meals. The sleeping area feels private even though it’s technically all one space, and the windows let in this gorgeous natural light during the day. I spent quite a bit of time just sitting by the window with coffee, watching the neighborhood come alive in the mornings.

Getting Around and Practical Stuff

Transportation from here is actually better than I expected — you’re not right on top of a TransMilenio station, but the connections are solid once you know the routes. I found myself walking more than I planned, which turned out to be great because you discover these little corners of the city you’d never see otherwise. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving, but most people won’t need a car from this location anyway. The building itself feels secure, and check-in was straightforward — no drama, which I always appreciate after a long travel day.
