Nico Apartasuites Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Nico Apartasuites in Bogotá’s trendy Chapinero district, you immediately get that “this place gets it” feeling. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top — instead, there’s this understated sophistication that feels authentically Colombian. The lobby has this warm, residential vibe that makes you forget you’re actually in a four-star hotel. Honestly, it feels more like you’re staying at a really well-designed friend’s place, which I think is exactly what they’re going for.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Chapinero is where you want to be if you’re looking to experience the real Bogotá — not just the tourist version. You’re walking distance from Zona Rosa’s restaurants and bars, but you’re also close enough to the more authentic local spots that most visitors never find. The fact that couples rate this location 9.5 out of 10 tells you everything you need to know. There’s something romantic about wandering these tree-lined streets, and having a quiet retreat to come back to makes all the difference. Plus, the parking situation here is actually manageable, which anyone who’s driven in Bogotá will appreciate.
Your Space
The apartment-style setup is what really sets this place apart from your typical hotel experience. Each unit feels like a proper home base — you’ve got space to spread out, and the kitchen means you can grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and actually use them. The beds here are genuinely comfortable (and I’m someone who usually struggles with hotel beds), so you’ll actually wake up feeling rested instead of like you wrestled with the mattress all night. The room design strikes this nice balance between modern functionality and local character.
Morning Routine
Breakfast here is this nice American-buffet hybrid that works whether you’re craving something familiar or want to try local flavors. What I really appreciate is that they don’t rush you — you can take your time, plan your day, maybe have that second cup of coffee while you figure out whether you’re heading to La Candelaria or staying in the neighborhood. The restaurant area has these big windows that let in all that beautiful Bogotá morning light, and there’s something about starting your day there that just feels right.
Why Guests Love It
You know what really impressed me? The number of repeat guests this place gets. That’s not something you see everywhere, and it tells you that people aren’t just satisfied — they’re actually planning their next trip back. The 8.8 rating reflects what you experience: solid execution on all the basics, plus those little touches that make you feel like you made the right choice. It’s the kind of place where the staff remembers your name, where everything works the way it should, and where you can actually relax instead of constantly managing little annoyances. For Bogotá, that’s honestly pretty special.
Best hotels in Bogota mix rooftop hot tubs, emerald cocktail bars, and chef-led ajiaco tastings.

Loved the location. Close walking distance to restaurants and easy to cab or Uber to tourist locations. The staff is super nice and helpful.
