The rooms follow that classic ibis formula — compact but thoughtfully designed, with everything you actually need and nothing you don’t. The bed was surprisingly comfortable (they use their Sweet Bed concept), and the shower had proper water pressure, which isn’t always a given in Bogotá. The WiFi worked reliably throughout my stay, and there’s air conditioning, which you’ll definitely want during Bogotá’s warmer periods.

  Location was great. Fantastic view over the city from my room. Excellent buffet breakfast. Security staff were omnipresent on the ground floor which was reassuring and there was an in house taxi service so getting a ride was quick and easy.

  Great variety for breakfast: it was worth the price, good local food, fresh fruits and most importantly great coffee.
  
  We had lunch at their peruvian restaurant Q Ceviche, amazingly tasty and good menu. The location was great right across the street from Museo Nacional and easy to walk to Plaza Bolívar, I would stay with ibis Museo Hotel again.
  
  It also had around convenience stores, 2 drugstores, Exxo and may other small places.
