I mean, there’s this little arepa place two blocks away that locals line up for every morning. The couples who rate this location so highly (8.7 apparently) probably figured out what I did — you can easily grab the TransMilenio to Zona Rosa or La Candelaria, but you’re sleeping somewhere that feels genuinely Colombian. This neighborhood authenticity is one of the hotel’s greatest strengths.

The Room

My room was clean and well-thought-out, with those little touches that show someone actually considered how travelers live. The bed was firm (thank goodness — Colombian hotels sometimes go too soft), and the shower had proper water pressure, which you can’t take for granted at this price point. The air conditioning works quietly, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase without playing Tetris with your belongings. Nothing fancy, but everything you need is there and working properly. The room design maximizes comfort without unnecessary frills.

The restaurant serves a decent breakfast spread — not elaborate, but they do fresh fruit really well (it’s Colombia, after all), and the coffee is legitimately good. You know what surprised me?
