Hotel Parque 63 Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Hotel Parque 63 feels like discovering one of those well-kept secrets that locals don’t really want to share. This four-star property sits right in the heart of Teusaquillo, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better — I mean, there’s a reason couples keep rating it 8.8 for romantic getaways. The lobby has this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard, which I actually appreciate more than those over-the-top places that feel like theme parks.

The Teusaquillo Advantage

You know what’s great about staying in this neighborhood? You’re close enough to everything that matters in Bogotá without dealing with the chaos of La Candelaria or the tourist crowds in Zona Rosa. Teusaquillo has this residential charm where you can grab coffee at a local café in the morning and feel like you’re experiencing the real city. The tree-lined streets around Calle 63 are perfect for evening walks, and there’s something refreshing about being in a part of town where you’ll hear more Spanish than English — it keeps things authentic.

Sleep Quality That Actually Delivers

I’ll be straight with you — hotel beds can be hit or miss, but this place really nailed it. The room I stayed in had one of those mattresses that’s firm enough to support you but soft enough that you sink in just right. Maybe it’s the altitude in Bogotá, or maybe it’s just good planning, but I slept better here than I have at hotels twice the price. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re thoughtfully designed with enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped.

Morning Fuel

The breakfast situation here is solid — they do a buffet that covers all the basics plus some Colombian touches that make it feel local. Fresh tropical fruits, decent coffee (which, let’s be honest, should be a given in Colombia), and enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying multiple nights. I noticed quite a few repeat guests during my stay, which tells you something about how they handle the details. These aren’t tourists just passing through — these are people who’ve figured out that this place works.

Why Guests Love It

There’s something to be said for a hotel that doesn’t try to be everything to everyone but instead focuses on doing the fundamentals really well. The staff genuinely seems to care about your experience, the location puts you in the real Bogotá without sacrificing convenience, and you’ll actually get a good night’s sleep. For couples especially, this hits that sweet spot of being romantic without being cheesy — you’re in a beautiful neighborhood with great restaurants within walking distance, but you’re not paying resort prices for the privilege. It’s the kind of place you’d book again without thinking twice about it.

  • Andres from Ecuador (8/10)

I like the place even though I was expecting more modern, it is a good place the breakfast was delicious, fresh food and fruits, the most i like is the location I traveled to go to Movistar Arena so it's easy to go by walking.

  • Luis from Colombia (8/10)

Location is great if you have to go to Movistar arena and sports complex. Area feels safe. We walked to the place we had the concert. Our room had double window so that noise of the street was mild but I always carry plug ears just in case. Hot water was great. Room was clean. WiFi was ok.
