Hotel Morrison Usaquén Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Hotel Morrison Usaquén, you immediately sense this isn’t your typical business hotel. The lobby has this refined elegance that feels distinctly Colombian — not trying too hard to be international, but sophisticated in its own right. I mean, you’re in one of Bogotá’s most coveted neighborhoods, and the hotel absolutely knows it. This five-star property sits right in the heart of Usaquén, where tree-lined streets meet upscale boutiques and some of the city’s best dining.
The Usaquén Advantage
Honestly, the location here is what sets everything apart. Usaquén used to be a separate colonial town before Bogotá grew around it, and you can still feel that village charm — especially on Sundays when the famous flea market takes over the main plaza just minutes away. The hotel sits on Avenida 19, which locals know as the spine of the zona rosa, so you’re walking distance from Andrés Carne de Res (the original location, not the touristy one) and countless cafés that actually serve decent coffee. Couples seem to get this immediately — they consistently rate the location above 9 out of 10, and I can see why.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in faced the avenue, which sounds like it might be noisy, but the windows are surprisingly effective at blocking street sounds. What struck me most was the bed — and I’m usually skeptical when hotels boast about their mattresses, but this one actually delivered on the promise of a great night’s sleep. The linens feel substantial without being heavy, and there’s this attention to detail in the way everything’s arranged that suggests they really think about guest comfort. The bathroom is spacious by Bogotá standards, with good water pressure (which isn’t always a given at this altitude).
Breakfast and Practical Touches
The buffet breakfast surprised me with its variety — you’ll find traditional Colombian options alongside international standards, and the fruit selection alone makes it worth getting up for. What I appreciated was the parking situation; having free private parking in this part of the city is genuinely valuable, especially if you’re planning day trips outside Bogotá. The staff seems to recognize returning guests, which makes sense given how many people come back here repeatedly — there’s something to be said for a place that builds that kind of loyalty.
Why Guests Love It
You know what really works about this place? It feels like luxury without the pretense. The service is attentive but not hovering, the amenities are thoughtful rather than flashy, and the location gives you authentic access to one of Bogotá’s most livable neighborhoods. Whether you’re here for business meetings in the financial district (about 20 minutes south) or you want to explore the city’s cultural side, Usaquén puts you in the right spot. It’s the kind of hotel where you actually want to spend time in the lobby with a coffee, watching the neighborhood come alive outside.

This is a great hotel in a very good area of Bogotá named Usaquen. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the stuff very efficient and helpful. The location of the hotel was very convenient for restaurants and shops, but it’s very far from the center of town. Everything was good. The room was big, the bed clean and comfortable and so was the bathroom. The mini fridge was convenient to keep our drinks cold. I highly recommend it.

This is a great hotel. Very clean, professional, quiet and comfortable. The staff members were all very friendly with big smiles and very attentive. It does have good breakfast and their kitchen menu is excellent. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean and most important, it is located in a very safe neighborhood. I went to visit Bogota on a very rare hot week but the A/C saved my sleep and my stay at the hotel. There was absolutely zero noise and I was able to rest super comfortable.
