Floralia Casa Boutique Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Floralia Casa Boutique, you immediately sense this isn’t your typical three-star hotel. The intimate scale — it really does feel like a boutique property — creates this welcoming atmosphere that larger hotels just can’t match. There’s something refreshing about a place that focuses on getting the details right rather than trying to be everything to everyone. The staff genuinely seems to care about your experience, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re navigating a new city.
Location & Neighborhood
Chapinero is where you want to be in Bogotá, and this hotel sits right in the sweet spot of the neighborhood. You’re on Calle 51, which means you can walk to some of the city’s best restaurants and cafes without dealing with Bogotá’s notorious traffic. The Zona Rosa is practically at your doorstep — I mean, you can stroll to trendy spots for dinner and actually enjoy the walk back. Couples particularly love this area (they’ve rated the location 9.4), and I get why. There’s this energy here that’s sophisticated but not stuffy, plus you’ll find plenty of those cozy wine bars that make Chapinero special.
The Room Experience
The rooms strike that perfect balance between comfort and character that boutique hotels aim for but don’t always achieve. You know what impressed me most? The attention to local touches without going overboard with the “Colombian theme.” The spaces feel thoughtfully designed rather than decorated by committee. Sure, you’re not getting massive suites here, but everything you need is there and it’s done well. The beds are actually comfortable (not always a given), and the bathrooms are modern enough that you won’t miss home too much.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast setup is more substantial than you’d expect from a three-star property — they offer both American and buffet options, which gives you flexibility depending on your morning mood. I appreciate that they don’t try to overcomplicate things; instead, they focus on doing the basics really well. The coffee is solid (this is Colombia, after all), and there are enough fresh options to fuel whatever Bogotá adventure you have planned. It’s the kind of breakfast that actually sets you up for the day rather than just checking a box.
Why Guests Love It
With a 9.2 rating, Floralia Casa Boutique clearly gets something right that many hotels miss — it delivers on its promises without pretension. The location alone would make this place worth considering, but it’s the combination of being in the heart of Chapinero with genuinely good service that wins people over. You’re getting upscale touches and attention to detail at a price point that won’t break your travel budget. For travelers who want to experience Bogotá from a great base without paying five-star prices, this boutique property hits that sweet spot perfectly.
Hotels near me in Bogota offer shuttle loops to El Dorado Airport, cowork lounges, and quick hops to Zona G brunch spots.

Panayiotis from Cyprus (10/10)
Ok listen! The place is a house which was turned into a small hotel. Of course one can find things to complain about BUT the energy of Marilu and the rest of the staff is so strong that you don’t even care about the small things!

Super friendly staff, they let us check-in and check-out at night which was great because it was our first days in Colombia. Breakfast was tasty, room simple but we found everything we need!

Great clean house, comfortable bed and good sized room, friendly helpful staff, adequate breakfast. Safe area….although I felt ok in Bogata generally in my 5 day visit.
Yanelkis from Senegal (10/10)
Everything was perfect! It exceeded my expectations. The staff was awesome. The attention and care they gave us were excellent!
The area is very safe and there are supermarkets in walking distance. You can reach any important landmark or neighborhood with Uber and it's not expensive at all.
We just have a recommendation: please consider adding a mirror in rooms because it's inconvenient for people to get dressed without a mirror.Maribel from United States (10/10)
