Cora 96 Street Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Cora 96 Street Apartments in Bogotá‘s trendy Chapinero district, you immediately get the sense that this place knows what it’s doing. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top — just a solid four-star property that clearly understands what travelers actually want. The building sits right on Calle 96, which honestly is one of those streets where you feel like you’ve landed in the heart of everything that matters in this part of the city.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s the thing about Chapinero — it’s where locals go when they want good food, decent nightlife, and that perfect mix of residential calm and urban energy. You’re walking distance from Zona Rosa, but you’re not stuck in the middle of tourist chaos. I mean, there’s a reason couples rate this location so highly (9.6 out of 10, which is pretty remarkable). The neighborhood has this great mix of cafés, local restaurants, and shops that feel authentic rather than put-on for visitors. Plus, you can actually walk around here in the evenings, which isn’t something you can say about every part of Bogotá.
The Apartment Experience
What I really appreciate about staying here is that each apartment feels like someone actually lives there — not like a sterile hotel room. The beds are genuinely comfortable (and trust me, after a few nights of mediocre hotel mattresses elsewhere in Colombia, you’ll notice the difference). Each unit comes with a proper kitchen, which is perfect when you want to grab fresh fruit from the local markets or just make coffee the way you like it. The spaces are thoughtfully laid out, with enough room to actually unpack and settle in for a few days.
Practical Perks
One thing that immediately sets this place apart — free parking right on site. If you’re planning to rent a car and explore beyond Bogotá, this is huge. Parking in this part of the city can be a real headache, so having a guaranteed spot is worth more than you might think. The staff seems to have figured out all those little details that make a difference, like reliable wifi and hot water that actually stays hot. You know what really tells you about a place? The repeat guest rate here is higher than most properties, which means people aren’t just staying once and moving on.
Why Guests Love It
Honestly, it comes down to location and execution. You’re in one of Bogotá’s most livable neighborhoods, in a property that doesn’t cut corners on the basics. The combination of apartment-style space with hotel-level service hits that sweet spot where you feel settled but not responsible for anything. Whether you’re here for business in the financial district or just want a solid base for exploring the city, this place delivers without any of the pretension you sometimes get at boutique properties. It’s the kind of spot where you’ll find yourself planning your next Bogotá trip before you’ve even checked out.
To book a hotel in Bogota during Christmas lights, guests pair Monserrate funicular rides with Usaquen market strolls.

I liked the location, the breakfast was really abundant and good. They always ask if you need some helpers to move around or if you need transportation. Really close to 93th Street Park, Gaita Cumbia House, Unicentro and many other things close from there.
Gonzalo from Colombia (7/10)
Breakfast is fine, perhaps they need to show better, as the girls there provided what I want, but not sure if they have or what to ask..
Shannon from United States (8/10)
Spacious, spot for cooking + fridge, great location, two bedrooms and floor to ceiling windows, hot breakfast, huge king size bed in primary bedroom, great closet space, hot showers, excellent security and available drivers.

I am a solo work traveller from the UK who has lived and travelled to dozens of countries in Africa, Asia and the Americas. No habla espagnol.
*It is a clean, pleasant value hotel in a great location, close enough from Zona Rosa and good restuarants nearby (Sakura Ramen!) but also very quiet with some lovely architecture close-by to walk and see.
*The interior was clean, spacious with lovely plants and artwork. Despite being a 'value' hotel it was attractive on the inside!
*The staff (lobby, security, kitchen) were polite, friendly and responsive.
*Check-in was efficient.
*The place felt secure, both the surrounding area and also the hotel itself where all exit/entrance is controlled by a security guard. Rooms required keys rather than electronic cards – I like it!
*The breakfast was simple and delicious and there was a board saying what was available. Kitchen staff remembered what I wanted 🙂
*While there was no soap/shampoo in the room, or water bottles, you can get them if you ask at the front desk.
*This suite's bedroom is above the lobby facing the street, however the area is generally quiet so it wasn't a problem. I had a beautiful sleep here compared to another hotel in Zona Rosa which was too close to night clubs.Kyle from United States (9/10)
I'm from USA and speak very little Spanish. This was the perfect place for my 5 days in Bogota. I used google translate app when talking with the staff. The front desk was very accommodating. The morning breakfast is like a cafe. You tell them what you want and they will make it for you. The staff in the cafe was so nice and understanding.
There was a security guard 24/7 and the front door was always locked. The location was so nice, beautiful and quiet.
My apartment was quite large and very clean.
If you are out of the country and looking for a safe place to stay. You must chose this one.
