Central House Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Central House Hotel feels like discovering one of those well-kept secrets that locals don’t really want to share. It’s a solid three-star property that punches way above its weight — honestly, I was expecting something pretty basic, but this place surprised me in the best way. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe without trying too hard, and the staff actually seems genuinely happy to see you arrive.
Prime Teusaquillo Location
You know what really sets this hotel apart? The location is absolutely spot-on in Bogotá. I mean, Teusaquillo isn’t the flashiest neighborhood, but it’s where you want to be if you actually want to experience the city like someone who lives here. You’re walking distance from Zona Rosa when you want nightlife, but you can also stroll to local cafés and parks that most tourists never find. The couples staying here clearly get it — they rated the location 9.0, and honestly, I can see why. It’s that sweet spot where you feel connected to real Bogotá life without being stuck in the middle of chaos.
Comfortable Accommodations
My room was exactly what I needed after long days exploring the city — clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet considering you’re in the heart of everything. The beds are actually decent (not always a given at this price point), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The bathroom was spotless, which matters more than people think when you’re dealing with Bogotá’s unpredictable weather and want a proper hot shower at the end of the day.
Starting Your Day Right
The American breakfast here is pretty straightforward but gets the job done well. I’m talking eggs, toast, coffee that’s actually good — nothing fancy, but everything’s fresh and there’s enough variety to fuel up for a day of sightseeing. The dining area gets decent morning light, and it’s a nice way to ease into your day before heading out to tackle places like La Candelaria or the Gold Museum. Plus, the coffee is Colombian, so even their “American” breakfast has that local advantage.
Why Guests Love It
What really makes Central House Hotel work is that it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or rooftop pools, but you’re getting a genuinely well-run place in an excellent location with staff who know their neighborhood. The 8.2 rating makes perfect sense — it’s the kind of place where everything just works smoothly, and you end up recommending it to friends because it made your trip better without breaking the bank. For couples especially, having that perfect location means you can walk to dinner, explore different barrios easily, and still come back to somewhere that feels like a proper retreat from the city’s energy.
Apartments in Bogota suit remote teams with floor-to-ceiling windows, security lobbies, and on-site barista bars.

Reviews of Central House Hotel

The location is at a very safe location and lots of restaurants nearby. Major attractions are just few minutes of uber/taxi drive.
Big shout-out to Fernanda (The front-desk lady) as she was super helpful and guided me with all the information needed. Gave lots of good tips. The breakfast was really nice and was made with love. Would definitely recommend this hotel to all fellow travelers.Barbara from Poland (8/10)
Very clean room, comfortable beds, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was and additional advantage – the food was simple (eggs, bread, coffee) yet tasty. The location of the hotel is conveniently connected with the airport, yet it's not very close to the city centre. There are various shops and restaurants in the close neighbourhood which is safe and clean (and this is extremely important in Bogota). Also, as our flight was in the late evening, we could leave our luggage in the hotel lobby.
