  The hosts and staff here were super kind and helpful. The rooms are solid. They're not big, but you get enough space. When I was there, there were very few others at the hostel except for the volunteers who maintain the place. Check in was easy. If you're looking to kick back and relax, this is the place.

  Casa Tsao is very well located with all of the historical district (La Candeleria) within walking distance.
  The guest house has a beautiful entrance way and terrace space as communal area.
  The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Felipe invited me to try a few different varieties of passionfruit which was very kind and introduced me to a few other guests who were very kind.

  The location in La Candelaria was excellent. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby; there was also a mini-supermarket a short walk away (Olimpico). The Gold Museum is nearby and we could also walk to the trailhead for Monserrate easily (~20 mins or a bit more). We felt safe in the area throughout our stay.
  
  The staff and volunteers working at the place were friendly. They allowed us to check in earlier when we came into Bogota on a morning bus.
  
  Our room was basic but cosy and clean. There is a shared kitchen that guests can use, though it is quite small. The two terrace areas on the second floor were lovely; the quieter one at the back was especially nice to hang out in, and one can see Monserrate from there.
  
  When we reported that the ceiling in our room had a minor leak after a torrential downpour, the staff got us a new (and bigger) room almost immediately, which we appreciated a lot.

  The house setup is incredible! The balconies, the kitchen, the kitty 😻 heated shower, own room and bathroom. Super clean and very very homely

  The hosts were SUPER helpful withy us finding a taxi. They used their own app to order it, waited at the door with us, then ordered another when the first didn't show up and waited again with us.
