Biohotel Organic Suites Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Biohotel Organic Suites in Bogotá’s trendy Usaquén neighborhood, you immediately notice this isn’t your typical four-star hotel. The lobby has this calm, earthy vibe that actually makes you slow down a bit — which honestly feels pretty good after navigating the city’s bustling streets. What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create this organic, wellness-focused atmosphere without it feeling forced or overly precious. The staff genuinely seems to care about the whole eco-friendly concept, and you can tell they’re not just going through the motions.
The Usaquén Advantage
You know what’s brilliant about staying here? Usaquén is hands-down one of Bogotá’s most walkable neighborhoods, and couples absolutely love it here — I mean, there’s a reason they rate the location 9.1 for romantic trips. The Sunday flea market at Plaza de Usaquén is literally a few blocks away, and the whole area has this charming, almost European feel with its cobblestone streets and colonial architecture. Plus, you’re close enough to Zona Rosa for nightlife but far enough away that you can actually get some sleep. The hotel sits on Carrera 7 Bis, which is quieter than the main Carrera 7 but still gives you easy access to everything.
The Room Experience
I’ll be honest — I was skeptical about how comfortable an “organic” hotel room would actually be, but these beds are seriously something special. They’ve got this reputation for incredibly comfy mattresses, and it’s completely deserved. The suites feel spacious without being cavernous, and there’s this attention to natural materials and air quality that you don’t really notice until you wake up feeling unusually refreshed. The organic cotton linens and chemical-free cleaning products might sound like marketing fluff, but when you’re sensitive to these things (or just want to sleep really well), it makes a real difference.
Breakfast and Practical Perks
The breakfast setup here is actually pretty impressive — they do continental, vegetarian, American, and buffet options, which means whether you’re craving arepas or just want some decent coffee and fruit, you’re covered. What I really appreciated was how they source locally and organically when possible, so the fruit tastes like actual fruit, you know? There’s also parking right at the hotel, which honestly saves you a huge headache in this part of the city. It might seem like a small thing, but anyone who’s tried to find secure parking in Bogotá will tell you it’s worth its weight in gold.
Why Guests Love It
The repeat guest rate here is unusually high, and after staying here, I get it. It’s not just the eco-friendly angle — though that’s genuinely well-executed — it’s how they’ve created this little oasis that feels both responsible and comfortable. The location score of 9.2 isn’t an accident; you’re in one of the city’s best neighborhoods with easy access to everything from artisan markets to excellent restaurant options. Whether you’re here for business or exploring the city, this place manages to feel like a thoughtful home base rather than just another hotel room.

The location is great, the staff was really nice most of the time, the hotel itself is really cute and the breakfast was consistently ok. Overall, I think for the value in that area of Bogota, is an amazing place to stay.

The restaurant was excellent, from the food to the service. Our first night we had dinner in the restaurant. The soups were delicious. We both had steaks, which were perfectly cooked and tender. The red wine was excellent.
Breakfast is buffet style. I liked that they prepared your eggs to order, fresh and tasty. The coffee was delicious.Karla from Costa Rica (9/10)
