6 Suites Hotel Overview

First Impressions

Walking into 6 Suites Hotel feels like discovering a well-kept secret in the heart of Chapinero. This four-star boutique property sits perfectly on Carrera 4, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you tried. The building itself has this understated elegance — not flashy, but you immediately sense you’re somewhere special. What struck me first was how intimate it feels, with just six suites total, which means you’re never fighting crowds in the lobby or waiting forever for elevators.

The Chapinero Advantage

You know what makes this spot brilliant? You’re right in the pulse of Bogotá’s most dynamic neighborhood without the chaos. Chapinero has this perfect mix of trendy restaurant, local cafes, and nightlife that locals actually frequent — not just tourist traps. I found myself walking to dinner most nights because everything’s within a few blocks. The fact that couples rate the location 9.3 makes total sense when you experience it firsthand. There’s something romantic about strolling these tree-lined streets, especially in the evenings when the neighborhood comes alive.

Suite Life

Each room here is actually a proper suite, which becomes obvious the moment you step inside. The space feels generous without being overwhelming, and the design strikes this nice balance between modern comfort and Colombian character. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail — good lighting for reading, plenty of outlets where you actually need them, and windows that open (surprisingly rare in hotels these days). The beds are genuinely comfortable, not just hotel-marketing comfortable, and the bathrooms have that spa-like quality that makes you want to linger a bit longer in the morning.

Morning Rituals and Practical Perks

The continental breakfast surprised me in the best way. Instead of the usual sad hotel spread, they actually put thought into it — fresh local fruits, proper coffee (this is Colombia, after all), and pastries that taste like they came from a neighborhood bakery rather than a factory. I mean, starting your day with good coffee while planning your Bogotá adventures just sets the right tone. The free private parking is honestly a godsend if you’re driving — finding secure parking in this part of the city can be a real headache otherwise.

Why Guests Love It

What keeps people coming back isn’t just one thing — it’s how everything works together. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood and gives recommendations that feel personal, not scripted. The size means they remember your preferences, and you start feeling less like a guest and more like a temporary local. Recent guests consistently rate it 9.1 for location, and after spending time here, that number makes perfect sense. You’re close enough to walk to Zona Rosa for dinner, catch a show in the cultural district, or just people-watch from one of the nearby cafes. It’s the kind of place where you actually look forward to coming back at the end of the day.
